The Hunger Games

In preparation for our movie field trip on March 23rd to see The Hunger Games, we're reading or re-reading the first book in this popular trilogy for our next meeting on March 13th.

Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen accidentally becomes a contender in the annual Hunger Games, a grave competition hosted by the Capitol where young boys and girls are pitted against one another in a televised fight to the death.

We're reading The Help for our next meeting on January 24th (there will be pizza at the meeting and students who posted online book reviews are invited to join us). We're watching The Help movie in the auditorium after school on January 20th.
